Zero Energy

Scope of Work:

Objective :

This BESS installation aimed to provide load balancing for Shree Plastics during peak hours, allowing for uninterrupted manufacturing operations and reducing reliance on expensive grid power. Additionally, the system was designed to enhance power reliability and minimize the need for backup diesel generators, reducing fuel consumption and environmental impact.

Impact:

The system successfully shaved off peak demand during critical hours, resulting in a 20% reduction in energy costs for the plant. The facility is now able to store excess energy during low demand and discharge it during peak periods, leading to improved grid stability and reduced strain on local infrastructure. Furthermore, by decreasing reliance on diesel generators, the plant reduced its annual CO2 emissions by approximately 50 tons. The system’s remote monitoring also allows for proactive maintenance and optimal efficiency.
